While you're staying with us, take a wander through the fields to the Gask Ring Cairn, a National Scheduled Monument of Scotland. Step back in time 4000 years. There are often livestock in the field so all dogs must be kept on a lead.

There are numerous mountain bike routes possible from Gask, to suit most tastes and fitness levels. These are mainly on forest and landrover tracks, with a few quiet single-track and B-roads thrown in. We'd recommend at least a hardtail MTB, although some routes would be suitable for hybrids.
For Whisky lovers, there are many highland distilleries to explore and sample the odd dram!
Our local distillery, Tomatin, welcomes visitors and lies 13km to the south east of Gask House, via a picturesque back-road from Farr, or via the A9.
Scottish Highlands is particularly renowned for its famous salmon rivers and wilderness trout lochs. YouFish Scotland is the closest facility to Gask House that offers guided fly fishing whether you prefer river, sea or loch.
Scotland is the home of Golf, and the highlands is home to three of the best links courses in the country.
Inverness has impressive tennis facilities if you fancy a game, and we can recommend a coach.
