Inverness Classic Vehicle Show
Over 150 classic and vintage vehicles on display throughout Inverness city centre, from iconic cars and bikes to rare gems you won’t want to miss! Wander along Church Street (upper and lower), High Street, Inglis Street and Falcon Square to see the display of classic vehicles from across the decades.
The grand finale is at 3pm with a parade of vehicles led by the City of Inverness Youth Pipe Band. This is a FREE event.

Inverness Performance Car Show
This event brings together a whole host of performance, modified, street, classic, retro & race cars.
You can expect to see up to1000 cars on display, along with a live stunt show taking place 3 times across the day. There will be a variety of related trade stands along with a Food Village serving everything from chips to burritos.
This family event is also dog friendly and there will be an area for kids amusements too. It is a ticketed event.

The Nairn Show
This the agricultural show for Nairnshire Farming Society and includes livestock judging, main ring events, the world famous Galcantray Clydesdales, a craft fair and food stalls.
7 August
Black Isle Show
The Black Isle Show is the largest agricultural show for the North of Scotland. There will also be lots of trade stalls, food stalls and arts and crafts. It is a day-out not to be missed!

Moy Country Fair
Moy Country Fair offers a diversity of entertainments and activities for all of the family! The emphasis is on field sports activities with competitions in fly casting, gun dog handling and clay pigeon shooting.
Activities in the main ring differ from year to year so keep an eye on their webpage for the 2025 programme of events.
There are also lots of stalls selling the best of Scottish produce (food drinks and crafts).
The event will be held at The Moy Estate, Moy, IV13 7YQ. There is an entry fee for this event.

Nairn Highland Games
148th Nairn Highland Games!
During the morning, the junior piping competitions and field events take place. From midday the massed bands of the pipes and drums will leave Viewfield House (Nairn Museum) and march to the Links which signals the start of the traditional heavy events.
Here are some timings, but these are approximate and may be subject to change:-
10am - Junior Pipers need to be registered
10.30am - Junior Piping competition begins (Putting Green area)
10.30am - Registration opens for Athletics and Heavy events
11.45am - Junior Athletics field events begin (Main Arena)
12 noon - Kiddies Races (for Toddlers to age 8 years old) no registration required
12 noon - Registration closes for Senior Piping, Athletics and Heavies
12.30pm - Senior Piping competition begins (Putting Green area)
12.30pm - Half Marathon starts from Main Arena
12.30pm - Massed Pipe Band leaves Viewfield, marching down the A96, arrive in Main Arena at approx 12.45pm
1pm - Heavies, Dancing and Senior Athletics competitions begin
1.30pm - Tug of War registration opens until 2pm
2.15pm - Massed Pipes and Drums
2.30pm - Tug o War competition (approx time)
2.50pm - Drum Major Competition
3.30pm - March of the Pipes and Drums and British Legion Colour Parties
4.30pm - Massed Pipe Bands leave the Arena
This is a free event and takes place at the Wallace Bandstand IV12 4EA.

Glenurquhart Highland Gathering and Games
Glenurquhart Highland Games include the traditional events performed by the heavyweight athletes – throwing weights and hammers and tossing the caber. In addition, there is the Glen Challenge and track races for adults and children, solo piping and the very popular Tug o’ War. There will be trade stands and food and drink outlets.
